Before any of our employees are hired full time, we conduct a full background check and screening as part of our selection process. The full knowledge and acquiescence of the individual must take place before the background check and screening can be administered. Potential employees are required to provide all information possible and allow authorization for collection of the rest which include former work or school institutions. Such a release does include all rights of applicant under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Refusal of cooperation in this process does eliminate the potential applicant from any next steps in employment processes.
This screening may involve some or the following but may also contain others: criminal history review, motor vehicle history, drug testing, social security number verification, prior work confirmation, proof of academic authorizations, credit history, and other testing deemed relevant based on the nature and duties of the position(s) sought. This check and screening is done by Chicago Serve and Investigation, in agreement with the laws and criteria of the state of Illinois.
